As a result of our continued growth, we have an excellent opportunity in our Actuarial Unit and are seeking a qualified candidate to fill this position. You will become part of an accomplished team of industry professionals with knowledge and experience across many lines business and programs.
Perform Rate Adequacy Indications to support rate filings
Relativity Analysis for new or existing book of business
Rate Planning / Class Plan models / Rate History Maintenance / Loss Ratio Monitoring
Assist with objections and interrogatories from state departments
Frequency and Severity Reporting
Regular analysis of industry developments
Work independently and directly with client
Maintain documented processes
Advise on best approach / strategy
Peer review documentation
Requirements:
At least 10 years of Property/Casualty actuarial experience
ACAS or FCAS designation
Knowledge of Commercial and Personal Lines of Business
Knowledge of filing requirements
Knowledge of actuarial techniques and methodologies
Ability to utilize mathematical and statistical knowledge combined with business knowledge to independently develop advanced analytics
Advanced knowledge of at least one statistical programming language
Strong project coordination and organizational ability
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Qualified candidates will help support various lines of business and programs countrywide. This is also a remote work from home position.
