About this Position

Responsibilities & Qualifications
In this role, you will:
Assist with or perform comprehensive data compilation and analytical support for pricing, reserving and pricing level indications.
Assist with or analyze, develop, and validate complex statistical data.
Develop tools to automate and improve processes within company.
Prepare and present comprehensive recommendations, exhibits and reports for management, as directed.
Develop and implement business solutions that incorporate statistical models and computational data analysis that use Generalized Linear Modeling, Principal Components analysis, Clustering and Classification models, Multivariate Regressions and/or Decisions Trees.
What we need from you:
Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, statistics, mathematics, or related field.
1 to 3 years related experience for an Actuarial Analyst II, 2 to 6 years of related experience in business environment for Actuarial Analyst III..
Completion of 2 actuarial exams for an Actuarial Analyst II, 4 plus actuarial exams for an Actuarial Analyst III.
For an Actuarial Analyst III, currently pursuing designation of ACAS (Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society).
Proficiency in Excel including use of macros.
Ability to write moderately complex computer programs and queries.
Ability to understand basic data analysis and actuarial techniques.
It would be great if you had:
Insurance industry experience.
