We are hiring for a Senior Actuarial Assistant in our corporate office located in South Sioux City, Nebraska. This position offers relocation assistance. As part of our actuarial team, you will be assigned to work primarily with one of our locations and the underwriters to ensure company profitability and growth goals are being met. Apply advanced actuarial science techniques and theories to enhance risk management activities for the company.
Research and develop revised rates, rating factors, and pricing models.
Assist with or lead the preparation of quarterly reports, development of new product lines or programs, and lead ad-hoc projects.
Work on rate filings for multiple lines of business.
An analytical mindset.
Ability to clearly communicate findings to other business partners.
Minimum of three (3) exams with commitment to taking and passing Actuarial exams to receive ACAS/FCAS designations.
Demonstrated experience utilizing Excel and a programming language, such as R or Python.
Current authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis. We do not sponsor applicants for an employment visa.
