About the role
Global Partnerships leads Swiss Re's dialogue with governments, development banks and non-governmental organizations. Our focus is creating business opportunities with the public sector by directly and systematically approaching governments on national and sub-national levels, NGOs and development banks in a coordinated way across the Group.
Support a fast-paced team located in U.S., Latin America and South America.
Tasks and activities
• Maintain client data in various systems and store discussion notes
• Support specific transactions and projects
• Help prepare client briefings
• Help prepare/update client action plans / strategies
• Monitor procurement databases of major clients (e.g. UN, World Bank, ADB)
• Research on specific clients and topics
• Update and refine standard presentation
• Identify and track national and regional conferences relevant for GP
• Competitor research

• In Junior year of an undergrad degree program
• Exceptional academic performance (GPA 3.0 and above)

About the team
Our team develops solutions to support the public sector manage risk more efficiently by using risk transfer mechanisms which transfer risk to the (re)insurance and capital markets. Global Partnerships has successfully helped public sector clients address complex risks such as natural catastrophes, agriculture production, infrastructure financing and longevity risk, by leveraging Swiss Re's broad product offerings. These range from traditional risk transfer to insurance-linked securities and advisory services.
