Main role will be to market Assured Research material to property/casualty (re)insurance companies in the U.S (and Bermuda/London markets)
Points of entry are typically through senior financial executives or heads of departments including actuarial, claims or underwriting
Past sales experience is not a prerequisite, but the successful candidate will have substantial working knowledge of P&C insurance, diverese interests within P/C insurance, and a willingness to sell.
This is a part-time position with an annual stipend to supplement primarily commission based income. Industry analytical and sales tools will be made available (including LinkedIn Sales Navigator; S&P Global; Salesforece.com).
Opportunities, over time, to contribute to research content and expand the role to a broader business development role
The successful candidate is likely to have 10 or more years of P&C insurance experience.
Diverse experience outside of actuarial is a plus, but not prerequisite (e.g., rotations in claims, underwriting, management, finance).
CAS designations not a prerquisite
Job will be work-at-home with occasional travel to industry events (likely in years 2 and subsequent).
Candidates from the greater New York area or mid-Atlantic states preferred owing to proximity to northern NJ company headquarters
Additional Salary Information: Willing to work with the successful candidate to establish realistic sales goals and optimize fixed vs. commision based income.
